YOU ARE YOUR DOGS FIRST RESPONDER

This is the most extensive course offered, paired with Chris’ 30+ years experience
in training/trialing/competing with dogs, veterinary Assistant experience
in addition to my knowledge as the OSPCA as the Animal Care Coordinator it is second to none.

The canine first aid classes are designed with your learning ease and comfort in mind.
During this course, you’ll never be put on the spot, but rather be supported in a variety of learning styles.
Participant’s favourite part is the hands-on practical scenarios –
Such as K9 CPR Training, bandaging, XXT extraction, broken bone stabilization and more.

This canine course, located in Barrie, ON. is a fast paced day of hands on learning in a fun and supportive environment.

ADVANCED EXTREME EMERGENCY

FIRST AID RESPONSE

Ready to level up your skills from the Canine CPR and Emergency First Aid Course?
This course is perfect for dog owners who often take their furry friends hiking, camping,
or live in remote areas far from veterinary care.

It’s designed to equip you with the skills necessary for extreme emergencies
where immediate action could be the difference between life and death for your dog.

This hands-on training demystifies the scariest scenarios.
You’ll start with a refresher on lifesaving CPR and mouth-to-nose resuscitation,
then move on to advanced techniques like sub-cutaneous hydration, stitching,
handling fractures, impalements, and more.

We also cover how to deal with animal attacks, coonhound paralysis, dangerous insects and plants,
and environmental hazards like narcotics and opioids.

Plus, learn crucial skills like K9 slinging and extraction for solo handlers, stabilization for transport,
and managing hypo/hyperthermia, exhaustion, and heat stroke.

The course is scenario-based to enhance learning

through hands-on practice, helping build your muscle memory.


You’ll also get a comprehensive 120+ page manual to use as a reference anytime you need it.

Having completed the Canine Health Canada TM
Canine CPR and Emergency First Aid
is required to register in this course.
